USDA Scholarships Application

The USDA/1890 National Scholars Program for the 1890 Historically Black Land Grant Universities is program that will provide full tuition, employment, employee benefits, fees, books, and room and board each year for up to 4 years to selected students pursuing a bachelor’s degree at the universities listed below. The goal of the USDA/1890 National Scholars Program is to increase the number of minorities studying agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, and the related disciplines. All USDA/1890 National Scholars are required to compete for appropriate employment immediately after graduation and, if selected, commit to at least one year of service to USDA for each year of financial assistance provided. The application deadline is 1/31/2018.

Church Mutual Cares Offers Scholarships for Religious Scholars

For the second year in a row, CM CARES Foundation is offering 50 scholarships of $5,000 each to advanced religious scholars — and we’re asking for your assistance to spread the word!

The CM CARES Religious Scholars program supports full-time graduate and doctoral students who are pursuing advanced degrees and are committed to ministry as a career. Scholars of all faiths are encouraged to apply.

Up to 50 scholarship winners will each receive $5,000 to help pay for tuition, fees, books or other costs of attending school full-time during the 2018-19 academic year.

The application period runs January 5 through April 14, 2018, so students should apply as soon as possible. Winners will be announced in June.
