How to Talk across the Political Divide
What: A free workshop to learn and practice skills for having respectful conversations that clarify differences, search for common ground, and affirm the importance of the relationship. Workshop will involve role plays that give participants a chance to practice skills in a friendly and welcoming environment (including refreshments!).
Who can come? Anyone interested in having better conversations with people on the other side of the political aisle.
When: Sun, April 29, 2018, 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM EDT
Where: Shepherd Park D. C., on Eastern Avenue between Silver Spring and the District of Columbia The street address will be sent to all registrants.
Check-in begins at 2:30 PM. Workshop runs from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM. The event is free to all. Tax deductible contributions will not be rejected. More information: firstname.lastname@example.org

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: Registrants will choose Red (tends toward conservative) or Blue (tends toward liberal/ progressive) tickets based on their political orientation. When we reach the maximum, we will create a wait list and send notifications of other workshops.
