Capital Area to Host Events, Workshops Celebrating Administration as Ministry
May 3 - May 5
Rev. Micah James, Lead Consultant of AdminIsMinistry.org,
to Lead Networking & Education Events
The Rev. Micah James, founder and lead consultant of AdminIsMinistry, an organization in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) yet ecumenically-oriented, committed to helping clergy and laity understand and live more fully into the truth that the administrative parts of church work are fully and completely *ministry* and not an addendum or added work.
The Capital Area Ministers Association is bringing Rev. James in to our Region to facilitate a weekend of workshops aimed at developing the basic knowledge of church leaders in the area of church administration. This weekend would be the beginning on a longer relationship with the long-term being to establish an ongoing partnership on which the churches of the Capital Area would call on AdminIsMinistry when they need support in the area of church administration.
